While giving a dog any type of gum is a bad idea, it is very important to remember that sugar-free gum is particularly dangerous. Many sugar-free items, especially gum, contain xylitol, which can be toxic to dogs of all sizes. Xylitol can quickly become fatal in toy breeds, especially puppies and tinies, where the ingestion of a single piece of gum causes an immediate and rapid drop in blood sugar among many other life-threatening conditions. If you even suspect your dog has ingested something containing xylitol, it is very important to get them to a vet immediately.

Rory and Lane's dresses are made by Lulu Pink and can be found in Walmart stores (or Wally World as it is “affectionately” referred to in our house). Occasionally, Lulu Pink has a limited selection online.
Their pink bows were made by Prissy Paw Fashions. Since Rory and Lane are bigger yorkies, I prefer the 7/8” sized ribbon in a double loop style bow. The bows they are wearing above also have flagbacks.

Yipes! Stripes! Fruit striped gum!
Anyone remember Fruit Stripe gum? After I got Rory and Lane dressed this morning, I couldn't help but notice how much their hooded dresses reminded me of the old Fruit Stripe gum packaging.
